“Putting up the Season” – Seasonal Food Preservation Class with Cassidy Tawse-Garcia and Sylvia Tawse

Food preservation is more accessible and attainable than you think. These four hour workshops will cover the basics of preserving food by canning, pickling, fermenting, dehydrating, freezing, and more. Cassidy has been “putting up” food for a decade out sheer necessity: the growing season in her old home of Crested Butte, Colorado, was just three months. In these classes, she’ll share her knowledge of the age old craft while incorporating modern hacks and great seasonal recipes.
